Linking to Audio Files from Naxos and Classical Music Library
You can make persistent or durable links to specific audio recordings located in Classical Music Library and Naxos or to a faculty playlist created on Naxos. By placing these links in your course web page, your WebCT or BlackBoard module, or on a reserves list, you can easily direct your students or other members of your research group to required or suggested recordings.
As these services may undergo revisions, we encourage you to test your links thoroughly and regularly, updating them as needed.
Linking to an audio file in Classical Music Library
- View the title or movements you would like to link.
- Click "View static URLs" underneath the selections.
- Copy the URL.
- Important! For off-campus users, you will need to insert the proxy prefix and suffix in the URL:

Linking to an audio file in Naxos Music Library
- Locate the title or movements you wish to link.
- Click the "Show Static URL" button on the Naxos player.
- Highlight the URL and press <Control> <C> to copy the URL (right clicking on the URL is not enabled on this site).
- Important! For off-campus users, you will need to insert the proxy prefix and suffix in the URL:

- Locate the playlist you wish to link.
- Click the “Static URL to Playlists” button below the playlist window.
- Highlight the desired URL and press <Control><C> to copy the URL (right clicking on the URL is not enabled on this site).
