University of Arkansas students, faculty, and staff have free access to Secure Shell (SSH) applications, which provide a telnet-like connection using password encryption and secure file transfer. Instructions for downloading, installing, and configuring Secure Shell for Windows and Mac can be found on Computing Services' Telnet software site.
