Scrapbooks contain articles; newspaper and magazine clippings; press releases; pamphlets; bulletins; speeches; photographs; correspondence; greeting cards; telegrams; announcements; programs; admission tickets; itineraries; campaign material; and other papers pertaining to Congressman Harris's political interests and activities in Arkansas and the nation, as well as to the work of the Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce and the Special Subcommittee on Legislative Oversight.

Of particular interest are letters signed by prominent political figures such as Orval Faubus, Gerald R. Ford, Lyndon B. Johnson, John L. McClellan, Wilbur D. Mills, Sam Rayburn, and Jim Trimble, and invitations to the inauguration of Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt, Dwight David Eisenhower, and Harry Truman.
