Series 8. Negatives(in Special
Collections Negatives Storage).
Hudgins originally had two files of negatives, one of them
apparently assembled for illustrations for her articles, the
other labeled "Tozy Brandenburg Negatives, 1950s to 1960s." Many
of the negatives in both groups could be matched to prints in the
collection. These negatives are restricted. The negatives that
could not be matched to prints, however, may be examined by
researchers so long as they are kept in their protective sleeves.
Subseries 1. Hudgins negatives.
The arrangement by Hudgins has been generally left intact.
Negatives are in alphabetical order by the original subject
headings. It should be noted that some of the original subject
headings may be misleading: nearly 200 "Baseball" negatives, and
about 25 "Boxers" were of the athletes and their families playing
golf in the mid-1930s (these in addition to some 60 "Golf"
negatives).

Brandenburg, Jr., a commercial pilot and free-lance photographer,
son of C. W. Brandenburg, Sr., owner of Brandenburg Cleaners, Hot
Springs.
