Typescript carbon copy account of Civil War activities (many of them in northwest Arkansas) of Confederate soldier (apparently a guerrilla leader) Sidney D. Jackman of Bates County, Missouri. Jackman wrote about "Jackman's Missouri Cavalry" and the fighting at Lone Jack, Missouri.

Donated by the author's great granddaughter, Oletta C. Davie, Fort Worth, TX, October 15, 1986.
