The papers in this series pertain primarily to the Education  Renewal Consortium (ERC), a partnership of schools and universities working together for school improvement; the Arkansas Consortium, part of the National Network for Educational Renewal (NNER), headquartered at the University of Washington, Seattle and founded by Dr. John Goodlad; the School Renewal Panel (SRP), designed by the members of the Arkansas Education Renewal Consortium as a way to disseminate information about the Consortium and the benefits of education renewal in general; and the American and Arkansas Forum, an educational organization and  national clearinghouse for editorial opinion. The series further contains miscellaneous papers which Sara Murphy collected in the course of her career in the field of education.
