The following employees of the University Libraries will be receiving their degrees on Saturday, May 10, 2008.


Krista Casada from Serials
Major: Ph.D. in Comparative Literature
Future Plans: I will continue to work at the library and will do freelance interpreting and translation. There is a possibility of teaching part-time.

Kwan Wai Choi from Cataloging
Major: B.S. in Financial Management
Future Plans: I will return to my home country.

Sherea Dillon from Reference
Major: M.S. in Agricultural Economics
Future Plans: To pursue a Ph.D.

Emily Falls from Periodicals
Major: B.A. in Journalism
Future Plans: After an internship this summer, I want to move to San Diego.

Jennifer Koenig from Reference and Special Collections
Major: M.A. in History
Future Plans: I will take a year off before entering the Masters of Library Science program in August 2009.

Matthew Lammers from Special Collections
Major: B.A. in History
Honors and Awards: Will graduate at least cum laude. First Ranked Senior Scholar / Fulbright Graduate with Distinction.
Future Plans: I am taking a year off to do seasonal work in the Rockies. Then, I will be attending graduate school to pursue an M.A.T. degree in Secondary Education in Social Science and eventually becoming a high school history teacher at a school to be determined.

Mary May from Preservation
Major: B.A. in Psychology
Future Plans: Graduate school

William Zachary Mosley from Special Collections
Major: B.S. in Architectural Studies with French and Art History minor
Honors and Awards: Martha Van Rensselaer Architectural Studies Award; Registered Student Organization Member of the year 2008; Student Art Gallery Coordinator; Dean’s List for Spring 2006, Fall 2006, and Spring 2007; Dean’s Advisory Board; Tau Sigma Delta Architectural Honor Society President 2007-2008.
Future Plans: Accepted an internship at Philadelphia Museum of Art and will be going into museum studies and curating.

David Sears from Special Collections
Major: B.A. in English and Music
Honors and Awards: Summa Cum Laude
Future Plans: Attending the Ph.D. program in Music Theory and Cognition at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University in Montreal with a Tomlinson Fellowship.

Lacee Smith from Performing Arts and Media Services
Major: B.A. in Communications
Future Plans: I plan on finding a career that I love!

Phillip Stephens from Special Collections
Major: M.A. in History
Honors and Awards: Magna Cum Laude
Future Plans: To pursue a degree in English or Philosophy.

John Terry from Special Collections
Major: B.A. in History and Classical Studies with Medieval and Renaissance Studies minor
Honors and Awards: Sturgis Fellow, State Undergraduate Research Fellowship Grant, Honors College Study Abroad Grant, and Fulbright College Senior Scholar.
Future Plans: Received a fellowship to undertake Ph.D. in Medieval History at the University of Virginia.

Jessica Williams from Performing Arts and Media Services
Major: B.A. in Biology
Future Plans: To attend graduate school in the fall to work on a Masters of Education in Recreation.
