Spring 2007 Planning Retreat
Retreat Results
All the participants at the retreat felt strongly that it was important that those who had to stay in the library during the retreat be able to provide their comments and suggestions about the mission and vision
statements, as well as the goals and objectives, that came out of the
retreat process.
Those who did not attend, please read documents below:
- Faclitator's Report: Retreat Process (PDF)
- Mission, Values, Vision (PDF)
- Goals and Objectives from Retreat Breakout Groups (PDF)
After you have read these, please send to Tim Nutt any suggestions or
comments you might have to add to or enhance any of the content in the
mission, values, and visions statements, as well as in the list of
goals and objectives.
Please be aware that although all the breakout groups created goals, not all of the groups had the time to finish brainstorming about the objectives to be included under the goals. So any further input you want to provide in this regard will be welcomed, as well.
Please note that two suggestions for a Vision Statement came out of the retreat. You are encouraged to let Tim Nutt know which statement you prefer.
After your suggestions are received, the draft goals and objectives
will then be edited and priorities among goals established by the
Program Steering Committee. Once the strategic plan is finalized and
approved, action plans will be developed by appointed task groups to
address goals and objectives.
Please send your suggestions to Tim Nutt by Monday, June 18th.
