Associations and Organizations

Africa Rice Center Africa Rice Center (WARDA) is an autonomous intergovernmental research association of African member states. WARDA is also one of the 15 international agricultural research Centers supported by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). Its mission is to contribute to poverty alleviation and food security in Africa, through research, development and partnership activities aimed at increasing the productivity and profitability of the rice sector in ways that ensure the sustainability of the farming environment. 
Arkansas Rice Growers' Association The mission of the association is to promote market development goals and government affairs goals for the benefit of Arkansas rice growers.  
California Rice Commission Rice is the most widely consumed grain in the world. 
International Rice Research Institute The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) is an autonomous, nonprofit agricultural research and training organization with offices in more than ten countries. The Institute’s main goal is to find sustainable ways to improve the well-being of present and future generations of poor rice farmers and consumers while at the same time protecting the environment.  
International Wild Rice Association The International Wild Rice Association is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the exchange of generic information and ideas relevant to Wild rice production, processing, and marketing for the overall benefit of its members. 
Ricegrowers' Association of Australia The Ricegrowers’ Association of Australia Inc. is the collective voice of rice growers in Australia. It represents over 1700 voluntary members by leading growers on issues affecting the viability of their business and communities. 
The Asia Rice Foundation The goal of the Asia Rice Foundation is to mobilize and provide support fro research, educational, cultural, and advocacy movements that promote public appreciation of the role of rice in the diverse culture of Asia, and ensure that farmers can produce enough rice to feed Asia's growing population while preserving the environment. The principal objective of this primarily UK based Association is to promote the interests of members in all matters pertaining to importating, processing, packaging and marketing of rice. The International Wild Rice Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the exchange of generic information and ideas relevant to Wild rice production, processing, and marketing for the overall benefit of its members. 
The Rice Association Primarily UK based, the principal objective of this Association is to promote the interests of members in all matters pertaining to importing, preparation, processing, packaging and marketing of rice. 
The Rice Foundation The Rice Foundation serves as the research and education program arm for the rice industry. The Rice Foundation represents all segments of the rice industry: producers, millers, suppliers, and users.  
The Rice Millers' Association The Rice Millers' Association includes farmer-owned cooperatives and privately owned mills, represents virtually all of U.S. rice milling capacity with mill members located in: Arkansas, California, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas. 
The USA Rice Council The USA Rice Council's mission is to promote the use of U.S. rice and rice products in the United States and around the world. Current member state Rice Councils in Arkansas, California and Louisiana have boards of directors, each of which elects representatives to serve on the USA Rice Council Board.  
US Rice Producers Association The US Rice Producers Association represents rice producers in Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Texas. USRPA is the only national rice producers’ organization comprised by producers, elected by producers and representing producers in all six rice-producing states. 
USA Rice Federation USA Rice Federation consists of all segments of the U.S. rice industry, formed by its charter members: the U.S. Rice Producers#8217; Group, the Rice Millers#8217; Association and the USA Rice Council. It represents a commitment to consensus-building, to equipping the U.S. rice industry with the strength of a unified voice.  
USA Rice Merchants' Association USA Rice Merchants' Association members provides a market outlet for thousands of farmers in all six rice-producing states. As an organization, the USA Rice Merchants' Association is the first to bring rice merchandisers and related businesses together in a representative, recognized body.
