The Center also offers a professional development course in Arkansas history for educators. | The site was developed to serve students and community members who would like help outside of regular business hours. Writing tutors can help students in the UALR network develop professional writing skills, identify error patterns in their writing, improve citation skills, and better understand assignments. Students may submit writing samples by email and tutors will usually reply within 24 hours. Many pages available on the site address common writing and citation problems and are available for anyone to use. | |

| Welcome the Children Project | |

| UAMS Partners for Inclusive Communities is addressing the needs of Latino children in early childhood. Originally known as Nuestra Familia, they provide training on cultural differences, second language acquisition, and assessing children for possible developmental delays. This project is funded by the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education.
