Located in historic MacArthur Park in Little Rock, houses art collections and hosts exhibits. An education section on the website announces workshops, has curriculum resources and activity guides for the collections and for the children's theatre productions. Online collections, circulating videos, and a touring artmobile are available. Their research library, noncirculating, can be searched through the Central Arkansas Library System online catalog. Departments include the Arkansas Museum of Art, the Decorative Arts Museum, the Museum School, the Children's Theatre and State Services.

Arkansas IDEAS (Internet Delivered Education for Arkansas Schools)
Host: Arkansas Educational Television Network & Arkansas Department of Education
A partnership between AETN and ADE provides videos, workshops for teachers, telecourses, classroom instruction and summer camps for kids to learn about television production. Offers professional development opportunities and online courses which accrue ADE credit. Has many teaching resources for technology-enhanced lesson plans, including PBS lesson plans and an online library of resources. Teachers with an Arkansas license may register for a password.

Community School of the Arts

The UALR Community School of the Arts offers non-credit instruction in the arts to students of all ages without audition or formal application. Classes are generally taught in the UALR Fine Arts Building. Children and adults interact with college faculty and professional artists. Instruction is available in acting, drawing, painting, pottery, photography, guitar, piano, flute, violin, viola, cello, bass, saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, voice, percussion, ballet, Chinese language, to name a few.
