| EDRE was established in 2005, through a substantial private gift and matching funds, in the U. of A. College of Education and Health Professions. The Department is committed to producing "high-quality research that will inform policymakers, scholars, parents, teachers, administrators and the general public about policies and practices that could improve the performance of schools.." The Education Working Paper archive includes the full text of research reports on topics such as accountability, achievement, school choice, leadership, school finance, and teacher quality.
