Distance Education Services and Resources

The University Libraries strive to offer students enrolled in University of Arkansas, Fayetteville distance education courses services equivalent to those available to students on the Fayetteville Campus.

What services are available?

Remote access to library databases and electronic collections
- more than 100 research databases
- more than 7,000 online journals and magazines
- a growing collection of electronic books
- reference works such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, and statistical handbooks
Direct delivery of books and article copies
- books from UA collections mailed to your home or office
- copies of articles or chapters delivered electronically
- Interlibrary Loan services to borrow books or articles from other libraries
Reference and research Assistance
- help in identifying and using appropriate databases
- help in locating articles and books on your topic
Use of other academic libraries in Arkansas
- over 35 libraries participate in the ArkLink Program
- you may apply to check-out materials at those libraries

Who's Eligible?

Currently enrolled in an off-campus course or program administered by the Fayetteville campus. Students eligible for distance education services include:
- students registered in compressed video or other distance courses held at other UA campuses
- students currently studying abroad
- students enrolled in correspondence courses
Division of Agriculture Experiment Station or Extension Service faculty and staff

Arkansas Archaeological Survey faculty
