The Libraries have acquired a subscription to an exciting collection of online journals. Project MUSE offers nearly 200 quality journal titles from some 30 scholarly publishers, such as Johns Hopkins University Press, Duke University Press, and University of Hawii Press. Project MUSE covers the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, economics, and many others. Their research database includes asearchable database of full-text research reports on the latest issues in business management and US and global economics. The Conference Board's proprietary, nonbiased research includes studies of Fortune 500 companies on business trends, leadership decisions, performance excellence, corporate governance, human resources, productivity, CRM and more. The Economics section offers topline US and global economic indicators and analysis and forecasts of regional, national, and international economic conditions.

    • An index to nineteenth-century periodicals, newspapers, and government documents

  • The Nation Digital Archive
    • The fullly searchable text of the news and opinion weekly, back to 1865.


      Printing Press
  • African American Newspapers: The 19th Century
    • Important newspapers published from 1827 - 1902, including the North Star and Frederick Douglass' Paper.

  • North American Women's Diaries and Letters, Colonial to 1950 Women's Diaries Logo
    • Hundreds of published and previously unpublished writings, searchable by criteria such as historical time period, life event, geographical location, ethnicity, etc.
