Linking to Articles, Journals, and Databases

You can make persistent or durable links to specific journal articles or other items in many library databases. By placing these links in your course web page, your WebCT or BlackBoard module, or on a reserves list, you can easily direct your students or other members of your research group to required or suggested readings.

Not all of our databases and electronic journals offer the ability to deep-link directly to an article, and some of those who do offer the service may set an expiration date on the URL. For this reason, we encourage you to test your links thoroughly and regularly, updating them as needed.
