| Description: | The Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature indexes and abstracts articles from nearly 800 nursing, biomedical, and consumer health journals, as well as publications of the American Nurses Association and the National League for Nursing. Also indexes books and dissertations. CINAHL now includes full text articles from more than 600 journals; in some cases the full text dates back to 1981. CINAHL also includes Pre-CINAHL records. Pre-CINAHL is intended to provide current awareness of new journal articles; these records are added to the databsse immediately upon publication, without full indexing or abstracting terms. |
