RefWorks Instructions for American Society of Microbiology E-Journals (ASM)

  1. View the abstract of the item you wish to save and select "Download to Citation Manager."
  2. For multiple citations, mark the items you wish to save and click on the prompt "Download ALL Selected Citations to Citation Manager."
  3. Choose Reference Manager format.
  4. Save the file to disk.
  5. In RefWorks, chose RIS Format as the import filter and RIS Format as the database.
  6. Note that in some cases only one citation may be imported at a time.
