Use the Avery Index Online to find current articles written back to the mid 1930's. For articles prior to that, use the old Avery Index volumes downstairs in the oversized/photocopier room.

..articles on art...or artists...
Use the Art Index to find current articles written back to 1989. For articles prior to that, use the old Art Index volumes downstairs in the oversized/photocopier room.

..books we own...
Use InfoLinks for books (and videos and recordings and manuscripts and scores, and other things) held in the various University Libraries, including Mullins, Fine Arts, Law, LRC, etc.

..books on my topic, but that we may not own...
Use WorldCat to see what is out there that we may not own. Some of these items may be available through Interlibrary loan.

..Some other cool things...
Full-text databases like: Proquest Direct, Lexis-Nexis Academic, and EbscoAcademic Premier have some stuff on art and architecture, too.
