Photo by Molly Boyd On May 31 and June 1, 2007, approximately fifty-five library employees made the trip to the Rockefeller Conference Center in Petit Jean, Arkansas, for a strategic planning retreat. Participants were divided into six groups for planning sessions: external relations, organization structure, programs and services, space, personnel, and constituencies. These groups refined mission and vision statements for the Libraries and developed goals and objectives in each of the six groups for the topics of communications, technology, measurements, and the meeting the university goals. The planning committee for the retreat was chaired by Tim Nutt of Special Collections, and included Molly Boyd, Anne Marie Candido, Tess Gibson, Deb Kulczak, Gwenyth Jelinek, and Molly Moore. |
