The Arkansas Audubon Society Trust was founded in 1972 to provide funds to support research and education in the fields of ornithology, ecology, conservation, and natural history.

The records consist of correspondence, minutes of the meetings, legal documents, financial statements, grant proposals, and other papers related to the Arkansas Audubon Trust from 1972-1991.

The Arkansas Audubon Society Trust Records were donated to the Special Collections Division by Frank Reuter, Berryville, Arkansas, on June 16, 1993 and on June 18, 1997.
