About
the Collection
Time
and the River, A History of Cleburne County,
published in 1982 by Rose Publishing Company (Little Rock, Arkansas),
was based on extensive research of archives, newspapers, county
records, family records, and taped interviews with many Cleburne
County residents. Evalena Hollowell Berry, a fourth generation
native of Cleburne County Arkansas, is a great-granddaughter
of Wesley C. Watkins, one of the founders of Heber Springs,
Arkansas.
