Use of Library Emblem

University Relations has given the Libraries permission to use the Libraries’ emblem (see links below) for decorative purposes only. The general guideline is that the Libraries’ emblem should appear as artwork and should not dominate or replace the U of A tower logo. The U of A tower logo should appear in traditional logo locations on any official U of A publication (i.e., newsletter, annual report, or library pamphlet). In particular, the office of University Relations stipulates, "Every UA publication must have the logo displayed on the front cover (and often on the back cover, as well), so that it can be properly and immediately identified with the University of Arkansas." This rule does not generally apply to subject handouts or any other informal handouts, such as reference guides or the drink policy handout.
