Remote Access Help
About Remote Access
Most library electronic journals and databases are licensed for use by currently-enrolled students, faculty, and staff.
Databases and ejournals grant access based on the network (IP) address of the user.
If you are using a computer on campus you should be able to access most library resources with no logins or passwords.
If you are using a computer off campus, you will need to authenticate as a current member of the campus.
On Campus
If you are using a computer on campus you should be able to access most library resources with no logins or passwords.
If you are connecting to the campus wireless network, note that the UA Secure Wireless network will provide better functionality with library resources than the more open UA Wireless network.
If you are on campus, but using your mobile device's data network, your device will appear to us as if you are off campus. See the instructions below for off campus access.

Architecture Faculty or Staff?
Computers on the network at the E.J. Ball building may occasionally appear as if they are "off-campus" to our ejournal and database providers. Use this A-Z list if you are having trouble connecting from E.J. Ball.
Do you have angles?
Angle brackets in your UARK password may not work on the library system. If you are unable to login, try changing your password to one without < or >.
