The Interlibary Loan Department is responsible for borrowing materials not owned by the University of Arkansas campus libraries. The department also processes requests for retrieval of items held in University Libraries storage facilities.

The Department uses ILLiad software to manage approximately 60,000 requests per year. Students, faculty, staff, and affiliates wishing to request an item through Interlibrary Loan must register with the ILLiad system.
