Services
Mullins Library is the main library facility on campus, where the majority of the University Libraries’ central offices, study space, and collections are available. The following services, facilities, and offices are located in Mullins:
- art and other exhibits
- faculty studies and graduate carrels
- General Access Computer Lab
- general reference and information desk
- group study rooms
- Helen Robson Walton Reading Room
- Interlibrary Loan office
- library instruction rooms
- Lindley and Kaneaster Hodges Jr. Reading Room
- main circulation and course reserves desk
- self check-out station
- wireless internet access and laptop checkout
Collections
This facility holds the majority of the Libraries’collections, including:
- MAIN circulating book collection
- current periodicals reading room
- Government Documents
- Learning Resources for Children collection
- maps and geographic information services
- microforms and microform readers
- Performing Arts and Media
- Pryor Center for Oral and Visual History
- Special Collections
Major collections for art and architecture, chemistry and physics, and law are located outside of Mullins in the Fine Arts Library, the Chemistry and Biochemistry Library, the Physics Library and Young Law Library, respectively. A number of lesser-used volumes and miscellaneous items are housed in the off-site storage facility (LISA).
