Welcome, Visitors!

The University Libraries cordially welcome outside visitors and researchers. It is our policy to serve anyone who walks in any of our campus libraries as best we can within the constraints of available resources.

Conducting Research

Within any of the campus libraries, outside visitors may freely use most library resources — including selected electronic resources accessible through the public computers. While students have first priority on library computers, guest access is available. Hours of service vary by department and branch library. To be sure that the services you need are open during your planned visit, please check Library Hours. Information and hours for Special Collections are also available.

Visitors are welcome to seek information and help in advance at the Mullins Help Desk or at any service desk for answers to research questions. Ask Us by phone, email, chat, or in person.

A Map of Campus Libraries is available as well as Floor Maps for Mullins Library.

Events and Exhibits

Throughout the year, the Libraries host a number of special events and exhibits to which the public are welcome.

Visiting Classes

Groups planning a visit to Mullins Library for an instruction session tailored to a specific assignment should read the Guidelines for Visits by Non-University Groups.

Parking and Transportation

Metered Parking in Garages

Visitors may use pay parking in campus garages. The two most convenient parking garages are Garland Center and Stadium Drive. Both garages have options to pay for parking with major credit cards at designated payment stations or with the flowbird app.
